Dorothy Davis Becomes BrideAug 4 at the home of the bride's aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Clive, 1908 Princeton ave., Miss DoroLhy Davis and Pfc. William Chapman Wooten recited their marriage vows. Harold W. Langton officiated at the double-ring ceremony, after which a reception was held.The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mervin W. Davis. 114 W. 1st North, chose a gown of slipper satin fashioned with a sweetheart neckline .and longpointed sleeves and an overskirt of sheer net. Her veil of lace-trimmed bride's illusion was caught to a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried gardenias and orchids.Attending the bride in pink gowns were Miss Patricia Bowman and Miss Virginia Leary, Beverly Daniei and Ann Peterson were the flower girls. Allan Davis acted as best man, and little Jimmie Peterson was ringbearer.After spending a few days in Brighton the newlyweds will honeymoon in Rocky Mount, N. C. until Pfc. Wooten, the son of Mrs. Mary D. Wooten of Rocky Mount, reports to Fort Douglas for further military assignment. He recently returned from the ETO.
