COMMENTS ON THE REUNION. NAn old Scholar of thnlirtrk Bohool TsJtenof th* Finnic. The following spicy remarks on the reunion at the brick school house were written by one who attended school there years ago and who since that time has risen to be one of the roost prominent men in Itock Falls:'‘There was a gathering of iheclaes of pupils, patrons and teachers of the Col-oma Brick School house Thursday that WR3 a very enjoyable affair. The ages of the class present, judging from appearances, and that was all we had to judge by as there was no reliable data to be had, ranged from four to eighty-four years, and Included those too young to get married, those too old to get married, those wanting to get married, the newly married, the ones married quite awhile and the ones married along time. There wore young settlers and old settlers, and children of old settlere, and children's children of old eettlers. As one looked around and observed the heads with white hair, and the heads without hair, the people with false teeth and those over sixteen without teeth, and those wearing glasses, it reminded one that old age was creeping on and that, should the gatherings be kept up, there would be faces that would not be seen at many in the future,.The program was well carried out by the younger generation, but parte assigned to some of the older oneB were conspicuous by their absence. Borne good letters were read from absent ones that showed tb^y still took an in tereat in the old seat of learning. The old house remains about the same with the exception of some noticeable improvements, The old pine desks and Blab seats have disappeared and new ones of the lattest pattern have replaced them. A hard coal Btove has taken the place of the old wood Btove. The room has been papered and the house jp a In ted and, on the whole, it is a good bchooThbuseTcbhBIderiisg the shocks it has withstood from holding some teachers and pupils.
