Shelton I* the former Maude France* Goad, daughter of the late George Beverly Goad and Mattie Lee Arnder GoadThey are the parent* of five children, one daughter and four *ona; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild Their children are the late Grady Monroe Shelton, who died in action in the Alp Mountains in 1944; Mr*. Lewi* (Mattie) Flippin of Graham; J Q Shelton. Jr., and James Franklin Shelton of Mount Airy and tharle* G Shelton of Rural HaiL Their children will honor Mr. and Mr*. Shelton with a reception Sunday afternoon from three until five o'clock at the Flat Rock Community Center They invite friend* and relative* to attend The celebration I* being held In conjunction with the annual Shelton reunion in the park area at 12 noon,
