• ‘Is Vi 8The third annual reunion of thej Lett settlement was. held last Sun-! day at Putnam Hill park. This was} largely attended. A delightful pro-} gram was presented by Limber Green j and singers, which was greatly enjoyed. The history of the Lett settlers, from Meigs township, was given by Alvah Caliman of Springfield. The - only surviving pioneer member of the Meigs township settlers is Mrs. John B. Reynolds, 27 Chapman street, who is nearing iter 88th # birthday anniversary. ' Mrs. Reynolds! was able to be present and greatly-enjoyed the affair. jThe Guy family of Newark, gave a beautiful vocal selection and a letter of greeting from Mrs. John Cross, of Remus, Mich., was read. She was unable to be present but sent greetings by her husband.' ' .The election of officers resulted as!follows: president. Alvah Caliman.!Springfield: vice president. Charles} Clifford, this city: secretary, Mrs.Gertrude Brown, Newark; assistant secretary. Miss Sarah Jackson. Zanesville; committee. Turner Simpson,} John B.
