ASSYRIAN CHRISTIANS ON THEIR WAY HEREWASHINGTON, Aug. 10. — More than 1000 Assyrian Christians fleeing from persecutions by Mohammedans, are on their way to the! United States on small sailing vessels, Secretary Davis said. According to information reaching the Department of Labor, he added, they are part of 75,000 refugees who started to march from the interior of Persia to ports, 25,000 of whom died on the way.
