E. theMISS ELS HONOREDiMiss Elaine Els, who will become the bride of Boyd Berghefer of Bel-' mond on Sunday, Aug. 19, at St. John American Luthenan church in Pomeroy, was the guest of honor at a miscellaneous shower at St. John parish house Sunday afternoon. Her aunts, Mrs. Wm. Burmeister of Fonda, Mrs. Arthur Nowack of Havelock, Mrs. Adolph Bangex-t and Mrs. George Siefken, were the hostesses.Two social games were the entertainment. Decorations were in orchid, naile green and yellow, the coloi’s chosen by the bride-to-lbe. The same colors were used in decorating the umbrella suspended over the gift table and the nut cups used on the lunch trays. Miss Els was assisted in unwrapping her gifts by Elaine Erps of Arcadia, a former room mate when j both taught at Havelock. Miss Els wore a corsage of gladiolas, a gift from the hostesses.
