ianay neiKotsKi, Lori uetsoer ana renni MncneuLearning Center Plans Open HouseThe Preschool Learnin Center is kicking off the 2006-2007 school year with an ice cream social and open house on Thursday, Aug. 10, at the Presbyterian Church, 2310 H St., Fairbury, from 7-8:30 p.m.Parents and their children who have already signed up and those who are interested in registering are welcome to attend.In addition to the ice cream and toppings being served, a variety of indoor and outdoor childrens activities are planned to help the students to become acquainted with their teachers, classroom equipment and peers.The Preschool Learning Center operates as a nonprofit preschool and is governed by a volunteer board of directors. Tammie Schmidt will be serving as director with Sandy Reikofski as assistant director for the 2006-2007 school year. Theboard of directors include: President, Tina DeBoer; Vice President, LoriDeBoer; Treasurer, Darcy Blatny; and Secretary, Michele Patton, Amy Martin and Penni Mitchell.Preschool classes for children ages 3 and 4 are offered on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 8-10 a.m. or 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Classes areheld September throughmid-May.Registration is based on a first come first serve basis. *For more information contact Tina DeBoer at720-2070.
