Holtzburgs Have (30th AnniversaryMr. and Mrs. E. E. Holtzburg will observe their 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday. An open house celebration took place on the event of their golden wedding 10 years ago, but this event will be observed quietly. The family, however, will be entertained at dinner Sunday at the Evanon inobservance of the anniversary.A native of Kansas, and pioneer settler in tin1 new Oklahoma territory, Mr. Holtzburg met the former Flora Belle Hendee when he came to Ohio to work on the construction of the present A. C. Y. railroad.On Aug. 10, 1892, he married Miss Hendee at the home of the bride’s parents in Spencer. Then they moved to Akron, where Mr. Holtzburg worked for the B. F. Good-iich company. Two years later they returned to Spencer and lived with Mrs. Holtzburg’s family for the next five years.After returning to Akron, Mr. Holtzburg again worked for the B. F. Goodrich company for, another five years. Finally, in 1904, they bought a farm between Granger and Hinckley and have made Medina county their home ever since. Before moving to Medina in 1924, the Holtzburgs lived in Weymouth township.While living in Medina, Mr. Holtzburg worked for the village and county and was a watchman for ! 14 years until his retirement 12 years ago.The Holtzburgs have three children, Mrs. Fred Schindelholz of j Weymouth. Mrs. Ernest Hanshue I and Mrs. Hugh Dague of Medina.
