WILL CELEBRATE FIFTIETH WEDDING DAY WEDNESDAY, ----------Through tha Citizen-Times Mr. and Mrs. K. L. Higginbotham extend the following invitation: “Mr. and Mrs.R. L. Higginbotham will celebratetheir fiftieth wedding anniversary, Wednesday, August 12th. They will be pleased to receive friends. Three to nine. No gifts.” vThat the invitation will be accepted by many there is no doubt as this worthy couple are held in high esteem by all their acquaintances. Mrs. Higginbotham’s maiden name was Jennie M. Dodge, and she was born in New York, coming to this state in 1835. Mr. Higginbotham is a native of Ireland. He came to this country in 1856 and located in Delphi. In 1856 he was married and also engaged in the jewelry business in this city in which he has continued since. Two children were born to them—Mrs. S. B. McCracken, of Elkhart, and L. A., of this city.The numerous friends of Mr. and Mrs. Higginbotham join the Citizen-Times in wishing them many happy returns of• Htheir anniversary. In honor of the event a box of dainties, calculated to tickle the palate of kings, was handed the office force.
