Sunday, August 7, 1988Mary and Roger MerrlamAn niver sary for MerriamsRoger and Mary Merriam, 6431 43rd Ave., will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 at Ambrose Hall, Kemper Center.Merriam and the former Mary Ann Jensen were married Aug. 14, 1938 at the First Congregational Church, Madison. They have lived in Kejiosha since 1945.The couple lias four sons: John, Pacific Palisades, Calif.; David, Madison; Robert, Minneapolis, Minn.; and Thomas, Hollywood, Calif.; and five grandchildren.Mr. Merriam, retired since 1973, worked at the Internal Revenue Service, Milwaukee. Mrs. Merriam retired in 1979 from the Kenosha Unified Schools.Both are members oftheBradford Community (Unitarian Universalist) Church. They volunteer as a couple for the Mobile Meals program. He is a member of the CYC Senior Bowling League and the Kenosha Golden K Kiwanis Club.
