McLendon met at the new Hamlin Lake,the 24th, 25 and 26th of July fortheir annual reunion. During- thistime swimming and boating were enjoyed. On Sunday noon a bountifuldinner was spread with all but twoof the children and their familiespresent. The afternoon was spent intalking and resting as everyone waspreparing to leave for their respective homes after having a most enjoyable week end.Besides Mrs. W. E. McLendon,the following were present: Mr. andMrs. Clyde McLendon and Larryand Jimm McLendon of Hamlin;Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Andrus andchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Fielder, Mrs. Roy Fielder, Mr. and Mrs.Jesse Reynolds and children, Mr.and Mrs. Winford Fielder and Bobbie, all of Anson; Mr. and Mrs. Ray*Teague and children of Royston;Mr. and Mrs. Paul McLendon andchildren of McCaulley; Mr. and Mrs.L. F. Bookman and Paula of Lubbock; Mr. and Mrs. Douglas McLendon of Norfork, Ark.; Mr. andMrs. Oscar McLendon and children,Mr. and Mrs. F. M.
