imt-in nas noi yet submitted any rt*eommendations. pSurprise Party At Ouellette HomeA surprise party was given to Laurent Poirier Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs.Ouillette of Pool street beforeleaving lor camp duties. He was given a very beautiful gift. Although much surprised he wasable to thank everyone. Miss Lilyan Binette and Tony Bin-ette entertained with * vocal numbers, which were very muchapplauded.Games were played. Those receiving rewards were Mrs. Omer C'yr of Sanford and Leo Ouillette. Refreshments were served by Miss Rita Ouillette and Mrs. Vermette. Later in the evening all the guests were invited to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emile H. Poirier of Stone street to oele-brate the birthday of Charles Cyr of Connecticut. A big birthday cake was set at the center of a nicely decorated table. He was also presented with a very nice gift. Refreshments were served, singing and dancing followed later. All left at an early morning hour, thanking their hostesses for a very enjoyable evening.Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Alphe Richard, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Binette, Mr. and Mrs. William Bisson, Mr. and Mrs. Etienne Ouillette.
