Native Of Lewis County Dies Thursday At VaderMrs. Sarah Booth, 70, pioneer resident of Vader, was found dead Thursday near Vader at the farm home of her son, D. W. Booth. Her death was discovered when a small granddaughter reported finding her “asleep’’ on the porch. She evidently had been dead a number of hours when found in the afternoon. She was bom May 10, 1866 at Grand Mound. After her marriage to William Booth, 52 years ago, they moved to Cougar Flat, where they were among the first homesteaders. Tha Booths have always taken an active part, in the community affairs at Vader.Deceased is survived by three sons, D. W., Lynden and Adna; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, George Roberts of Vader and Denny Roberts, address unknown; two sisters, one in Seattle and one in Arizona. The deceased’s husband died 10 years ago. three other sons have been dead for a number of years. The body was taken in charge by Cattermole at Wiulock. Adna Booth was on his way to California when his mother died.
