THHKB SCOKJB AND TEN.Alex McDowell Celebrates His Seventieth Birthday Anniversary.Oil Monday, the 5th instant, Alex McDowell, of Pleasant township, celebrated the seventieth anniversary of his birth m a most enjoyable manner. A large number of persons gathered at his home in Sheldon, and a gieat dinner was served. Mr. McDowell has been a resident of Pleasant township for forty-five years, having come from Ohio. At the anniversary a nice address was made by Rev. Xinkham, of Sheldon, and a number of presents were given.The following persons enjoyed the festivities: Rev.
