Evening Ceremony July 25 UnitesMiss Sandberg; GaylandMarried in an evening ceremony July 25 at 8 p, m in the First Evangelical Lutheran church, Princeton, were Miss Kathleen Charlotte Sandberg, daughter of Mrs C harlotte Sandberg and the late Dr. Ivan Sandberg, 513 West Crown, and Gayland Charles Nelson, son of Mr. andNelsonMrs. Charles Nelson, route 2,Ohio.Pastor Karl Nelson of the Lutheran Church, Aledeo, officiated at the double ring ceremony. Mrs. Fred Swansonwas organist and accompanied Mrs. Karl Nelson who sang 0 Perfect Love, and the “Lord's Prayer.”Given in marriage of her cousin, John Bond, Roselle,MR. AND MRS. GAYLAND C. S. will serve as the presiding officers for the evening and will be assisted by past officers who will fill the otherregular stations.Hayden ReunionHayden reunion will be held Sunday, Aug. 16, at City-County park with a covered dish dinner being served at 12:30 p. m.the bride chose a floor length gown of bridal taffeta styled -with a .sabrina nerklfc* at* cented with chantey lace and tiny seed pearls, long * tapered sleevs, a Dresden bodice andfull skirt that repeated thelace appliques and fell grace*into a chapel train. Herveil of silk ilu-smalllength held.tfullyelbowsion was held by pearl crown with drop crystal accent. A cascade of white stephanotis and white gardenias arranged on the Bible of her deceased sister, Bonnie, made up her bridal bouquet.Diane N Norris, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and Linda Nelson, sister ofthe bridegroom was maid ofhonor. Bridesmaids were Beverly Jensen. Chicago, JudyWeidman, C hesterton, Ind .and JoAnn Lashley, Princeton.The attendants’ gowns were ofreaibow colors, green, blue,pink, and yellow, and theirveils were of matching colors.Ohio, waswerean,inLeslie Kreiger, best man Groomsmen Nick Smith, Walnut, Bud Og-Ohio, Douglas Johnson, Ohio, and Louis Ritchey, cous-of the bridegroom, Rockford Wendell Lashley, La Moille, and John Gugerty,Ohio, were ushers. Immediately following theceremony, a reception washeld in the church parlors for200 guests. Assistants were Miss Connie Miller, Princeton, Miss Rita Nelson. Princeton, Mis. Barbara Ritchey, Rockford, Mrs. Joyce Thomas, Chicago, Miss Marjorie Bunch, Princeton. Mrs. Ann Krieger, Ohio, and Miss Carol Neff, Vi!'* Park As the new Mr and Mrs. Nelson left on a wedding trip to the Ozarks, the bride was wearing a two piece blue sheath dress trimmed i n white.The former Miss Sandberg, a graduate of Princeton high school, attended the University of Illinois and Augustana school of nursing.The bridegroom attended Ohio high school. They will be at home in Princeton at 1027 South Main street.
