£UU IU HI I LI1URETREAT AT NIIApproximately 200 Hammond. Whiting. Calumet City and East Chicago men will leave tomorrowby tram, bus and automobile to attend the laymen's fetreat at Notre Dame university at South Bend.Steve Maciejewski, Calumet City clerk, is co-chairman of the retreat committee for Calumet City, and Joseph A. Dorsey for Hammond.The rites will start Thursday and end Sunday morning. A closed re-S treat is scheduled for Aug. 10 to I Aug. 12 and this will be attended by several score laymen from North township cities and CalumetCity, according to Maciejewski.
