Some Account of the 64 th N. Y. Vol». in Campaign of Gettsburg.The 64th had left Falmouth, June 13th with two hundred and eight guns. Six men had succumbed to the heat and fatigue of the forced marches and now the whole fighting force of enlisted men was reduc« d to two hundred and two Twenty men (two to each company) were detailed to carry stretchers and twenty more were detached to bring up ammunition as it should be required in the heat of action.
