Fourth St., were honored on their golden wedding anniversary Saturday evening at the Stables Supper Club.The couple’s children, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Esse Sr., M i n-neapolis, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rhiger, Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Andy Sanders, Albert Lea, were hosts.Grandchildren present were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Esse Jr.,I Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. David Mussman, Owatonna, and Bill and Ann Rhiger, J i m Smith and Terry, Alan, Robinand Brian Sanders.Others present were Mr. and Mrs. Andy Gardner, Wells.Gardner, brother of Mrs. Sanders, attended the wedding.An open house was held at the N. V. Sander’s home Sunday afternoon and evening.Ann Rhiger served punch,Mrs. David Mussman cut and served the cake, and Mrs. Kenneth Esse Jr., poured in the afternoon.During the evening, MarionConger, cut andserved the cake and Carolyn Schmidt, Owatonna, poured.Mr. and Mrs. Sanders weregraduated from River FallsHigh School, River Falls, Wis., in 1909.
