Joseph Gilt officiated at the double ring ceremony at2:30 p.m. in the Wabash Christian church before the altar which was graced with baskets or white gladioli and asters, and paims. Tapers, ir. seven-branched canuc-labra. provided illumination.Mrs. Lewis Kauffman, organist, played “Ava Maria, “Indian Love Call. The Lord Leadeth Us” and 1 Love You Truly and accompanied Mrs. Kenneth Mart, vocalist, who sang Because. •‘With This King I Thee Wed,” and The Lord’s Prayer.Given in marriage by her father. the bride appeared in a gown designed from white French organdy. The molded bodice featured a deep portrait neckline with afischu edge, and Jong sleeves that taper id to points over her wrists. They complemented their attire with purple headbands and wore white nylon mitts.Craig Winegardner, brother of the bride, was ring hearer, and carried the rings on a white satin and lace pillow.Kenneth Quin attended the groom as best man and Eugene Miller and Glenn Williams were ushers.The mother of the bride attended in a honey-bcige silk jersey frock and wore beige and brown accessories and a red rose corsage and the groom's mother wore a black summer print dress with black and white accesso”ies and apearls, gift of the groom, and carried a white Bible, topped with a white orchid and stephanotis with streamers.Miss Bel tv Barrett, maid of honor. and Miss Patty Sue Wingard-ner, bridesmaid, sister of the bride, appeared in identical gowns o£ white doited swiss over white taffeta. Each wore a huge purple sash which formed a bow in bock. The bodices had short sleeves, square scalloped necklines and full floor length skirts. Both wore pearl jciv-pink rose corsage.Following the rites, a reception for approximately 170 guests was held in thu church dining room. The lace covered serving table was centered with a four tiered wedding cake, which was topped with a miniature bride and groom.Hostesses were Mrs. Glenn Williams, Mrs. Eugene Miller. Miss Shirley Ross. Miss Connie Purdy, and Mrs. Richard Carpenter.For their wedding trip south, the bride changed into u pink silk shantung dress and wore white' accessories and the orchid from her bridal bouquet.The couple will reside at Ft. Monmouth. N. J.. where the groom is stationed with the Army.The bride graduated from Wabash high school and is a member of the Wabash Christian church, and Sigma Phi Tamma international sorority. She is employed at the Public Service Co., of Indiana, foe.Her husband, who graduated from Ur ban a. is z member of St. Peter’s Evangelical church and is serving in the Army.
