There is always a devoutness and earnestness in the ceremony of the Catholic church that is unknown to othor religious denominations. The pomp and glory of it all cannot fail to excite earnest admiration. Yesterday for the flrst lime in the history of the Catholic church in this city solemn pontifical high mass was hold by Right Reveroud Bishop Watte rson.The services in the morning were conducted by Bishop Watterson, assisted by lit.
