AUGUST 4,1959» — —- ■ .Drake Park Drillers WillSave Samples for MuseumOne of the future exhibits at the Drake Well Museum will show visitors just what a vertical cross-section of the- ground beneath them looks like.G. H. Ghersng and J. D. Anderson, drillers for oil well No. 2 at the park, will save a sample of each foot of formation from the drilled well. The samples will be placed in glass tubes in the correct order, forming a miniature specimen of the well’s path. The scale of the completed mode! will be one inch per foot of actual formation drilled. The Pittsburg Plate Glass Co. of Reno finally located a manufacturer of the tubing, and it is being shipped by air express from Philadelphia,
