50th Anniverscirv CelebratedMr. and Mrs. William Crable of Lonaconing celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a . reception -given bv their family,'.held, in the Education room of the First Presbvlerian *' .V ’ ‘ ■ 1 ' -S .Church, Lonaconing A A gold and white color scheme prevaile with the room decorated in gold and white andgold, leaves and white swans* * ,'trimming the three-tiered cake, topped with a gold 4*50”. A ,wreathfof gold daisies and fern surrounded the cake: Floral arrangements for the : tables contained gold daisies andwhite astors. Mrs. Crable wore r r ' r .a. gold daisy corsage ana Mr. Crable, a gold boutonniere.Hey; C.JL Goshorn, retiredPresbyterian minister, gave the invocation. Piano music was provided by Mrs. James Dawson who also accompanied Mrs. Charles DeVauit, soloist. y- .The anniversary cake was cut arid -served by Mrk. Henry Milford. Punch was served bv Mrs. Gertrude Eilbeck and Mrs. Janice Russell Clark was 'in charge of the guest book. Mis's Diane Rusself .attendedgifts and Mrs. David Brown of Pontiac, Mich., was hostess.Refreshments were prepared and served by the ladies of Mary Martha .Circle, First Presbyterian Church* of which Mrs. Crable has been a member• ifor 40 years.Mr. and Mrs. Crable were married June 16. 1925, in the parsonage of the United Methodist Church. Lonaconing, by the fate Rev. U.W. Wright. Mrs. Crable is the daughter of the late Mrs. Anna (Jones) Bennett of Froslburg. She is a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Morning Star Temple 1, Pvthian Sisters.Mr. Crable. is the son of the* »■ * “ ■»late Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Crable. He is retired from the Kelly-Springfield Tire Com-pany.'They have two children, Mrs. Betty C. Russell of Lonaconing and William J. Crable of Lin-wood. N.J.
