GOLDEN WEDDINGCelebrated by Mr. and Mrs. Abel T.Morgan In Barr Township.Mr. and Mrs. Abel T. Morgan, who reside southeast of Montgomery, cele* brated their golden wedding Monday. He is 8G years old and she is 76. Both are remarkably well preserved for their age and today's celebration of their wedding day seemed to add youth to the old couple,Many of their neighbors and friends were present and partook of the delicious dinner that was served. Among the guests were James Brewer, of Bogard township, and John Williams, of Barr township. Both of these old gentlemen witnessed the ceremony that united Mr. and Mrs. Morgan in marriage just half a century ago.Mr. and Mrs. Morgan are the parents of Sheriff John.D. Morgan, Mrs. Adam Isenogle and Misses Ada and Austa R. Morgan.Mr. Morgan was bom in Spencer county and moved to Daviess county when a young man. He has always voted in the east precinct of Barr township and the rooster is the only thing he ever saw while in the act of marking his ballot. Mrs. Morgan was born and reared in Daviess county.
