Russell Thomas Intelligencer Staff WriterAn effort is underway to preserve the historic Ross law office building on East Court street adjoining theBucks county courthouse.An energetic* Doyltetowner. however, is taking no chances and is now building an exact scale model of the 128-year-old building that Will eventually be presented to the Bucks County Historical Society.Hillbom Darlington, Jr., son of a Doylestown florist, is building the model as a hobby, and after it has been placed on exhibition in the Darlington flowtrstore on Maple ave., and in the lobby of the Doylestown Trust Company, it will then go to the historical society.β€œIt is hoped that the reproduction of this scale model will a-rouse local interest and bring pressure to bear to spare the historic law office building,” Darlington said today.The historic building together with the Lehman Building adjoining. the Bucks County Administration Building on the corner of Mam and Court sts , and the Bucks County Annex Building are all scheduled to he torn down when the judicial wing of the new* $8,000,(XX) courthouse is built after the Office Building has been completed.Darlington's scale model is worked 112 inches to the foot and willKfi KOVm inchpk UMiia u lmn mmillpf-
