BICYCLE HITS AUTODonald Erwin, 15-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Erwin, 436 Market street, was seriously injured this afternoon about 3 o’clock when his bicycle collided with the Chevrolet car of Mrs. Carl Richardson, which was parked in the 400 block on South. Main street. Mrs. Richardson had parked her car and gone inside to visit a friend, when Donald, coming north on his bicycle, turned his head as a companion shouted to him, and in that brief moment, he collided with the rear of the Richardson car. He was thrown over the handle bars and his head hit the back of the car and he was rendered unconscious. A large dent in the back of the car was proof of the terrific impact. Dr. Potter was passing at the time and loaded him into his car, and took the young man to his office. At this time the extent of young Erwins injuries has not been determined.
