McWhorter familyHOLDS 65th REUNIONThe 65th annual McWhorter fam-iiy reunion was held Friday four miles from Stephens at the McWhorter burying ground.Presiding at the annual reunion vas J. W. McWhorter, of Winder, president, assisted by McWhorter Jlilner, Atlanta, secretary.Members of the McWhorter family and.their relatives from all parts of the state gather each year at thereunion to enjoy an all-day outing and basket dinner About 75 attended this year’s reunion.Since last year a pavillion has beenerected at the reunion site and adds much to the comfort of the visitors.Making short talks at the reunion this year were Hamp McWhorter of Lexington; Fonville McWhorter, of Atlanta; Mrs. Cora Brightwell, and Matt McWhorter, Atlanta, a member of the Public Service Commission.—Athens Banner-Herald.
