Mr. and Mrs. Pat PhillipsPat and Lorraine Phillips of Farmington will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary by renewing their wedding vows today at the family home, 3810Road. The ceremony will be officiated by Dr.Pollard. A reception will follow from 2-5 p.m.Pat Phillips and Lorraine Raney were married April 29, 1961 in Cortez, Colo. They met when they were 12-year-olds. Pat came to check out the new girl in the neighborhood pretending to be rabbit hunting.Pat is the owner of Pat Phillips’ Construction Co. Lorraine is a homemaker.In their spare time they both enjoy traveling and camping. Pat’s hobbies include working and deep sea fishing, and Lorraine’s hobby is her grandchildren.The couple have spent most of their lives in Farmington, Pat since 1940 and Lorraine since 1951.The Phillips’ have four children: Darlene Wilson of Farmington, David Phillips and wife Julie of Kirtland,Terry Phillips and Reed Phillips both of Farmington. 2001 They also have nine grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
