Couple Celebrate 50th AnniversaryMr. and Mrs. Edward Eaton, of North Burnaby, formerly of Winnipeg celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently in Edmonton when a family gathering was held.The couple came from Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England and were married May 4, 1911 in Winnipeg.Mr. Eaton worked for 43 years with the CPR, retiring in 1953. In 1955 they moved to their present residence.Their daughters arc- Mrs. S. H. Smith, Oak River, Man.; Mrs. A. Dugdale, Winnipeg; Mrs. Russell Blackhurst, North Burnaby and Mrs. Thomas Carlyle-Bell, Edmonton. There are six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
