Anniversarycelebratedin TexasMr. and Mrs. T. G. Tichenor of Pasadena. Texas, recently celebratedwtheir 50th wedding anniversary with an open house in their home. The c hildren and grandchildren were the hosts and hostesses.The Tichenors resided in West Virginia for 23 years before moving to Texas with 16 years having been spent in Arthurdale where they were original homesteaders.They were married in 1927 in Oakland. Md . and have four children; Mrs. Betty Vandergrift of Houston. Mrs. George (Delores) Born of Arthurdale; Bill Tichenor of Oklahoma City. Okla.; and Gary Tichenor of Pasadena. They have 12 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren Mr Tichenor retired from Diamond Shamrock in 1970. The Tichenors are members of the Beekeepers Association in Houston.
