ORAN KERRTwo events marked the 60th wedding anniversary observance of Mr. and Mrs. Oran Kerr, which occurred on March 30th.Open house was held at their home at 1108 North Main. March 29th. with their children, grandchildren and families, neighbors and friends joining them in marking‘he occasion.The serving table was centered with spring flowers. Refreshments of ice cream, cake, coffee and punch was served. The anniversary couple was honored with flow-ers and gifts.On April 5th, their sons and daughters were hosts at a dinner at the Stever House in Fairfield. Guests present were: Mr. and Mrs. Troy Kerr, Clinton; Mr. and Mrs. Warren McCormick, Osceola; Mrs. Edd Miller, New Virginia; Mrs. Pekin Ken-, Burlington; and Mrs. Ray Kerr of Des Moines. Mrs. Lydia Keller of Arizona was unable to be present.Those hosting the special occasion were Mrs. Betty McDowell, Keokuk; Mr. and Mrs. John Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Kerr, Mt. Pleasant; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kerr, Ft. Byron. 111.; and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Foster, Crawfordsville.
