Taking first place in volume for the first time was the Anniston Favccettcs, with .Mrs. William Bice as Chairman. They won 530 cash! Second place in volume was the Wellborn.Me. chanicsville Ladies’ Club. Third place goes to Mother's Club of the C. A. Hamilton Boys Club. In fourth spot was the FirstMissionary Baptist Church. The fifth place winner is the Coop, er Avenue I* IA. Coming ver rlose and gaining honorable mention was the Altrusa Club, the N e w Prospect Baptist Church, the B anti PW Club tnd the Oxford Band Boosters (luh.In the winner's circle in the oer capita reckoning was the Blue Springs Baptist WML withMrs. Mildred Baker as Chairman. Finishing second was the I’oldwater Kxtcnsion Homemakers Club. The Green Thumb Clardcn Club came in thirci The I.a Flora Carden Club crashed into the winners group nabbing fourth spot, and the Cheaha Acres Garden Club came in fifth.
