Meet YourWeldonianMilk Producer*Marlin Simar has been a producer for Weldonian Dairy for 21 years. He lives on the Bolivar Road and owns a 300-acre fdrm on the Vandermark Road. Since 1956 he also has rented and operated the Weldonian Dairy's farm of 240 acres on the Bolivar Road.Martin currently handles 55 milking cows, producing about 50,000 pounds of milk per month for Weldonian customers.Martin and his wife, Gladys, were married in 1931 and have three daughters. They are Mrs. Joyce Bissell, residing at Biloxi, Miss., Mrs, Winifred Lehman of Wellsville and Mrs. Norma Hoi iand of Buffalo.In 1928 Martin began his working career as a cheese-maker for Dairymen's League. He was employed in 1934 by the Wellsville Milling Company. One day in 1937 he attempted to sell a tractor to Herman Heineman at Five Corners. Mr. Heineman wouldn't buy a tractor, but Martin came away the owner of a farm. He began producing milk for the Weldonian Dairy in 1941 at his own farm. He moved his business to the Weldonian Dairy farm when he rented it, with cattle and equipment; in 1956, and became Weldonian's largest milk producer.iMartin Simar
