Tuesday, April 28, 1959 JPOPPY SALE — Elmer S. Kruger, commander of the VFW post here and chairman of the annual VFW poppy sale, presents the first poppy to Mrs. George H. Ash. past president of the Gold Star Mothers, national gold star chairman of the American War Dads auxiliary, and a member of the VFW auxiliary here, in advance of the sale Friday and Saturday. Funds raised are used to aid disabled veterans and their dependents.
