FORMER RESIDENTMARRIED AT INDIANAPOLISA pretty marriage ceremony was celebrated Sunday ’afternoon, April 17th, 1921, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick E. Lyon, 3821 Byram Ave., Indianapolis, when their daughter, Elsie Virtue, became the bride of Otho L. Brewer of Mooresville, Ind.The Rev. C. H. Smiley, of the Columbia Place Christian church, read the ring service before a canopy of pink carnations and snapdragons combined with greenery, in the presence of tiie immediate families and a number of intimate friends.The bride wore a beautiful gown of white crepe de chine, trimmed in beaded medallions, and carried a shower bouquet of bride roses. She was- attended by Miss Dee Brewer, sister of the groom, bridesmaid, who wore white georgette with a corsage of pink sweet peas, and Miss Irene Lyon, sister of the bride, who wore a white frock with a corsage of blue daisies and carried the ring in a lily. Donald Rushton of Mooresville was best man.The ceremony was preceded by a noon/luncheon served to» fifty guests, among whom were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Roehms and daughter Vera, i Miss Nellie Roehms' ana John Bolsher of Hamilton, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Milton ,M. Amos of Lebanon, Ind., and John W. Lyon of Kirklin.Mr. and Mrs. Brewer will be at home after May 15 on the bridegroom’s farm near Mooresville.
