The house passed the bill increasing the salaries of members of the general assembly to $1,200 per annum. The law is to become effective In 190G. % bill by Mr. Welker of Stark went 'through the house, appropriating $25,-000 for the erection of a monument in the sttehoust park to the Ohio soldiers who perished in the wreck of the steamer Sultana at the close of sthe civil war.
