Earl Priests7 50th anniversary honoredTINGLEY — Mr. and Mrs. Earl Priest were guests of honor at the Tingley community building from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 31, in observance of their golden anniversary. Hosts for the occasion were their children and family. Approximately 200 relatives and friends came to share the happy occasion.Irene Lawson and EarlPriest were married at the home of Judge Frank Woodward of Benkelman, Nebr., on March 31, 1923. They came immediately to make their home on the farm in Sand Creek township southeast of Arispe, where they have lived their entire married life.The children’s anniversary gift to their parents is to be a second honeymoon trip toHawaii.
