Mr. and Mr. George FatkinMr., Mrs. Fatkin Observe 50th Anniversary With GalaMr. and Mrs. George Fat-kin, 76 Ormond Street, Frost-burg, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, April 11, with an open house at their home.The former Mildred Fair-grieve. Mrs. Fatkin became the bride of Mr. Fatkin on April 10, 1920, during a ceremony performed by Rev. 11. E. Richardson of the United Brethren Chyrch of Cumberland. Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Squires, sister and brother-in-law of Mrs. Fatkin.They are the parents of four children, George Fatkin Jr., Nicoma Park. Okla.; Mrs. Marion Devault. Baltimore; Earl Fatkin. Potomac Park, and Mrs. Christine Buskirk.Eldersburg, Md. They alst have nine grandchildren.Mr. Fatkin was employee by the CW Transit Company from 1929 until 1953. Until hilt; retirement a few years ago he was employed by the City of Frostburg.Out-of-town guests includec Mr. and .Mrs. Leo Remote Hagerstown; Mr. and Mrs. Guy Vancy, llyallsvillc: Mr. and Mrs. Weiss Mountain. Bowie. Md.; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kenney and son, -oe, Ramlallsiown, Md.: and Mrs.Martha Brant of Hyattsville.Approximate! 125 persons attended the affair.Harvey II. Cook.
