Mr. and Mrs. Omef J. Desautels of 53 Vernon St. will observe their 50th wedding anniversary May 2.’ They will leave Thursday for a vacation In California with their daughter. The former Rhea Dupont and Desautels were married In St. Anne’s Church, Turners Falls, May 2, 1916. Mrs. Eva (Ducharme) McCarthy and Adelaid Desautels, both of Turners Falls, attended them. They have lived most of their married life In Greenfield. Mr. DcsauteLs is a retired machinist for the GTD. They haye two daughters,. Mrs. Rita Duprey of Greenfield and Mrs. Jeannette Whalen of Westminister, Calif.; a son, Albert M. Desautels of Minneapolis; seven grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. —R G Photo by Daigle, '
