WILLIAM R. CONNORSWilliam R. Connors Sr., 74, of Box 94, South Everson, died at 3:05 a.m. today in the I^atrobe Area Hospital, where he had been a patient six days.He was born in Everson on October 14, 1902, a son of the late David and Mary Ann Collins Connors.He was a retired patternmaker for the Duraloy-Blaw-Knox Co., of Scottdale, working from 1937 to 1962. He was a member of St. John the Baptist R. C. Church of Scottdale, lis Holy Name Society and the Scottdale Eagles.Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bridget Flanagan Connors, with whom he celebrated his 55th wedding anniversary on April 17, 1977; five sons, William R. Connors Jr., President of the Scottdale Borough Counci; Eugene Connors of Scottdale; T-Sgt. Ronald Connors, serving with the U.S. Air Force at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, and Aloysius (Al) Connors and John David Connors, both of Everson; four daughters, Mrs. Charles (Colette) Rosertberry of Normalville, Mrs. William (Eileen) Osniak of Everson, Mrs. Edward (Margaret Louise) Keill of Connellsville, and Mrs. James (Loretta) Skovira of Scottdale; 33 grandchildren; 23 greatgrandchildren; two brothers, Patrick Connors of Scottdale and Clarence Connors of Pitts bury h and four sisters, Miss. Margaret Connors of Everson, Mrs. Charles (Lucille) Booher of Mount Pleasant, R. D. 4, Mrs. Mary Regina Hann of Hunker, and Mrs. Irene O'Connor of Mount Pleasant.He was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur and David Connors, and a grandson, Dennis R. Connors, on July 16,1976.
