Louis WadiesCelebrateAnniversaryThe children of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Wadle gathered at the couple’s home Sunday at 1610 N. West St., Carroll, to celebrate their parent’s 60th wedding anniversary.The afternoon was spent visiting and lunch was served. Centering the luncheon table was a decorated anniversary cake made by Mrs. Julian Wadle. The couple received many gifts and cards.The children are Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wiederien of Dedham, Mr. and Mrs. Julian Wadle of Fonda and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nieland of Carroll. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren attended from Omaha, Neb., Sioux City, Fonda, Ankeny, Glidden, Dedham and Carroll.Mr. and Mrs. Wadle were married April 24, 1917, at St. Mary’s Church at Rosemount, Iowa, Warren County.
