East Lumber tonBaptist Revival Starts This WeekRevival services at East Lumberton Baptist Church will begin Sunday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m., and continue through Sunday morning, May 2. Revival speaker will the pastor of the church, the Rev, Norman Wheeler.Rev. Wheeler has been pastor of East Lumberton Baptist Church since March 8, having come to Lumberton from Salem Baptist Church, Sneads Ferry. A native of Pender County, Rev. Wheeler has also served churches in Wilmington, Rocky Point and Dunn during the past 15 years.East Lumberton Baptist Church is located on the Old Whiteville Road. The public is invited to participate in the services each night. A nursery wiE be provided for children 3 years of age and under.
