Mr. Mrs. Herman ZoskeObserve Golden Wedding.. fHUBBARD—On Sunday, April 18, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Zoske celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with a mid-day dinner at the home of their daughter, Mrs Frank Winter. At three o’clock an anniversary service was held with Rev. Martin Pape in charge. His text was taken from the 92nd Psalm. Three granddaughters, Ruth Rienert, Helen Reinert and Joan Winter, sang “Blessed Be The Tie That Binds” and “Jesus Lead Thou On.” Ruth Reinert sang a solo, “The Twenty-Third Psalm,” with Mrs. Martin Pape at the piano. “Fifty Golden Years” was written and read by Mrs. Willie Wolf of Manson and Helen Reinert read “Memories.” The brief service was closed with the benediction. At the close of the day a delicious lunch was served. Mrs. Zoske cut the first piece of their thrcc-tiercu cake and it was served by Mrs. Willie Wolf. Mrs. Carl Timm of Webster City poured. Guests, beside the honorees, were Mr. and Mrs. John Timm and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Timm and daughters, Webster City; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Maronn and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Maronn and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Maronn and family of Eldora; Mr. and Mrs. Gus Lettow and family of Buckeye; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Zoske and family of Iowa Falls; William Zoske and Karen, and Mr. and Mrs. George Heinz-roth of Alden; Mr. and Mrs. Willie Wolf and family of Manson; Rev. and Mrs. Martin Pape and Ted, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Reinert and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Winter, Jr., and family and Mr. and Mrs, Fred Zoske and sons, all of Hubbard.This union was blessed with ten children and 27 grandchildren, all of whom were present except one grandson, Cpl. Wilbert D. Reinert, Jr., who is now serving his country in Korea.
