'William Kincaid of the local *coast guard station assert that “ghost ships have been sighted repeatedly during the last few weeks, especially in the northern waters.' Kincaid.It is claimed the Christmas ship is regularly making its appearance in upper Lake Michigan and in Lake Superior. The ghost ship floats spectrally on the water's horizon, at dawn and at sunset, it is said.The phantom of a tug which sank with all hands during a storm last fall on Lake Superior, also is reported as seen several times.Capt.
