Mr. and Mrs. McFarlandMcFarland/40BRANDON — Dennis and Marie McFarland will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to S pm. Saturday at McFarlane Park in La Porte City. A card shower is also planned Dennis L McFarland and Marie Jean Bathen were married April 29, 1967, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Porte City.Mr. McFarland has been employed 28 years at John Deere in Waterloo, and Mrs. McFarland is employed by the Lutheran Home in VintonHosting the event will be their children, Willie and Tami McFarland and Jeff and Chris McFarland, all of La Porte City, Denise and Eddie Biretz of Hazleton and Debra and Joel Swanson of Maquoketa, and grandchildren, Ashley Hess, Timmy McFarland and Magen and Morgan Biretz,All friends and family are welcome to come celebrate Cards may be sent to them at 3072 Butler Ave, Brandon 52210.
