50th anniversary open house setIn observance of their 50th wedding anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Farber of RD 1, Magnolia, will be guests of honor at an open house Sunday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Crossroads Restaurant on Rts. 800 183 at Sandyville.It is requested that gifts be omitted.Hosting the event will be their son and daughter-in-law, David C. and Jeannie Farber of Zoarville.Mrs. Farber is the former Ruth L. Howenstine, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Webster Howenstine and Charles is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. E.G. Farber, all of Magnolia. Rev. B. L. Westenbarger solemnized their vows April 29,1936, in the Lutheran Church parsonage at Magnolia.The couple are members of Sandyville Grace Lutheran Church and are retired, Ruth as assistant post mistress at Sandyville, and Charles from Beaver Petroleum at Canton.MR.
