Q. Staober, 1116 Virginia street. The occasion, was the eighty-fourth anniversary of her birth. Four generations were represented among the guests that gathered to participate In the affair, the guests Including little Mathilda Norvelle, her great-granddaughter who was present with her mother Mrs. John Norvelle, Jr.* of Huntington.Gowned In ft lovely old world frock, ■with collar and cuffs of cream colored lace over which was draped a beautiful lavender shawl of fillfc lace, and wearing a'shoulder bouquet of lavender and blue sweet peas, Mrs. Norvelle made a charming figure as she received her guests.The scene, while unique in that birthday parties lor eighty-four year-old ladles at* rare Indeed, was nevertheless inspiring as the friends of Mrs. Norvelle, whom she had known In her youth and early womanhood, gathered to pay their respects and orfer congratulations,.
