Sumner High track team hosted the Tripoli Panthers in a dual meet Thursday afternoon. Sumner’s Aces edged the locals by a slim three points, 68-65 in total scoring.Tripoli claimed nine first plac-ings and tied for the tenth as the Sumner Aces proved best in seven events,* but picked up their point margin on second and third placings to win the meet.Here’s how Tripoli placed in thevarious events.High Jump—tie for first, Dennis Bahlmann.Pole Vault—didn’t place.Discus—2nd, A1 Kuecker.Broad Jump—1st, Darrel Hin-richs.SLR Put—1st, A* .Kuf .her.120 Yard H.H.—didn’t place.100 Yard Dash — 1st, Darrell Hmrichs; 2nd, Duane Waterman.
