WOMAN’S CLUB NOTESThe Woman’s Club meets at the home of the President, Dr. Gunn, Wednesday afternoon, April 26. Hostesses, Board of Directors and Chairmen of Committees. Club convenes at 11 o’clock, luncheon served at one t o’clock followed by afternoon session.It is desired that all members be pres- lt;ent and enjoy a good social time. It I ( is the Annual Meeting, therefore animportant one.Mrs. Brown, president of the Equal ]Suffrage Association of Illinois, gave I ]a very fine talk Wednesday afternoonat the Woman’s Club meeting at the (home of Mrs. George Klehm. Hertalk was in regard to the National ,Woman Suffrage Parade which is to htake place in Chicago June 7, 1916.1It is to be the largest parade of the -kind ever witnessed in Chicago. ,40,000 women are expected to marchon that day. The object of this suffrage movement is to urge the in-1 sertion of an Equal Suffrage Plank I in the platform to be adopted by the National Republican Convention.
