Commodore Paul Danner of theM. Y. C., announced yesterday that atetter had been sent the commodorethe Southern Gulf Coast Yiehttng Association, asking that that date bgiven Mobile. As-the Glorious Fourthhas been allotted to Mobile Yacht Club as the date of its annual regatta forthe past four or five years It Is a certainty that the date will be given again.Commodore Danner is very enthusiastic o v e r h e outlook for the y a lt;* hi* ing season. “I am sure it will h'e one of the best the club has ever had.” he said. ‘With an increased membership and a comfortable reserve fund inthe treasure the outlook for a more general int ’rest among members was never brighter. I am told by Chairmen Lee Partridge of the entertainirent committee, that the season's dances, will be quite numerous. You will remember that the Tartar met with an accident when stolen from her anchorage by a nuraher of caretakers at the^club quarters.
