MEET YOURDonald DoggettDonald Doggett has returned to his roots in the Glade community of Jones County after 35 years of ministry throughoutMississippi, Alabama, Texas, Louisiana and Tennessee.Doggett has two children. Wendy Doggett Elbourne resides in Shreveport, La., with her husband, Dr. Keith Elbourne.Brett Doggett lives in Clinton, Md., in the Washington, D.C. area. He works at the State Department and lives with his wife Heather Lay, who is originally from Oak Ridge,Tenn.Doggett has three grandchildren and another on theway.He is a 1967 graduate of Northeast Jones High School and a 1972 graduate of William Carey College.Doggett is retired from the Memphis Area Transit Authority due to his battle with Parkinson’s disease.He continues to work in the ministries of his church, Mt. Vernon Congregational Methodist. He also speaks at several churches in this area for pastors who are out of town or sick.— Submitted by Donald Doggett
